Allison recorded this (which is as far as we know, the only) performance of Mountain Halo at the North Six.
The video quality is so-so. The audio is alright -then worse when Allison accidentally covered the mic on her camera with her finger. The song is mediocre (at best) live. But this is still neat to see and I'm glad she recorded it.
Thanks, Joey. If you find out for sure who recorded it, I'll update the info. As is, I'll update thanking her for uploading it to you. I also would love to have the date for it. If she recorded it in NY, it should be easy to narrow down.
that video was recorded at NorthSix in Brooklyn, NY. i'm not sure on the exact date, i think it was the most recent show they played in Brooklyn, summer 2005. as for the recording, it's just a little fuji finepix, nothing spectacular. but the sound came out pretty nice for a little digicam.
oh yeah. i totally was covering the camera mic on accident. oops! (: i got excited.
Allison, thanks a ton for the info and for sharing this. Regardless of the quality, I'm just glad that someone recorded it. Take a look at the Show List (under pages on the side column) and see if you can narrow down the date. Is it 05-19-05 Brooklyn, NY @ North Six?

I would really like to thank Allison from NY for this video. I'm pretty sure she recorded/uploaded it, so I give her mass props. She sent this to me on AIM some time ago, so if it wasn't her that recorded it, I aplogize (though she should still get credit for being in possession of this video). As stated, it isn't the best song live, but I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure what happens to the audio towards the end, but I think the camera(wo)man MIGHT have been covering the camera mic. Enjoy.
