Meh quality, 33:38 minute, 76.7 mb wmv file

The Bad:
The vocals are pretty low at times and occasionally the sound clips. Ths sound quality overall isn't that great, but that's the least of the problems.

The video quality is pretty rough. It was shot in night-vision (I wish I was lying), so while the resolution is good, the colors are all a washed-out gray/yellow-green. Yuck.

The camera work is pretty horrible. It starts off pretty far back from the band and you can't see much. Then the camera person walks around in a dizzying trip to a better angle of the band by the end of the first song. The camera randomly spazzes out to the side or the ceiling or floor. A short while into "fishing the sky" the camera person puts the camera down on the table sideways and for a minute and a half we get a fantastic shot of a cup (again, I wish I was lying). Why did he/she decide to do this? Who knows? Maybe it has something to do with the power outage.

Oh yeah, the power outage. The power goes out in the venue and part of "forever longing" is just drums. But don't worry, you're staring at an awesome cup so you probably won't even notice.

The Good:
This is a pretty early show and the venue is pretty neat. Only the drumkit is on stage and the rest of the band members are inches from the crowd. Josh is as entertaining as ever to watch.

The Verdict:
This show is worth downloading and watching once for the experience (and I don't just mean the cup). Will you watch this often? Probably not. But fanatics will enjoy it -heck, it does have Mile Marker.

This is a nasty good video at some parts, and others it's quite ugly. Ugly being the camera work, cup, camera sound quality and the power outage. This is definitely a classic cause it is a snapshot of the band at one of it's finest hours, as well as them playing extraordinarily under pressing circumstances (the power going out, some crowd members not getting into it, etc). Also, the power outage is quite an event to get on tape, it's sort of romantic in the sense that they kept playing. The cup, well mostly the way Jeff described it, was hilarious though. Just some thoughts, 3/5. Kind of low for them playing mile marker very well but the quality of the vocals through the camera mic was shoddy at best.

The cup is hilarious. And you're right, the fact that they keep playing is pretty rad since they have no idea when the power will come back on. Just think, if this wasn't being shot in night-vision, we wouldn't get to see the cup during the outage! Joey, that's exactly the sort of comment I'm after for these shows. Thanks!

I was at that show. I'm to the left of the tall guy in the center. Great show. Talked to Chris afterwards. Super nice guy.
