Note that the recording date is an approximation. The year is claimed to be 1997 but I don't have the actual release month/day.

This recording predates "The Appleseed Cast" and was released under the name "December's Tragic Drive". The tracks are different than those present on The End Of The Ring Wars and lack any saxaphone.

At the time of the recording, the band was Christopher Crisci, Aaron Pillar, Louie Ruiz, and Jason Wickersheim

Jared contributed this piece of history. You can read a little more about it here.

I'm pretty sure that they are separate sessions. When Deep Elm was selling off stuff test pressings and the films from the artwork, I wound up with all the ADATs used in the recording of The End Of The Ring Wars and all the songs are represented in these sessions. The Marigold & Patchwork demoes are definitely different than versions that wound up on The End of the Ring Wars.

Sorry, that was me. Didn't mean to leave an anonymous comment. For some reason, I was logged in with no user name.

I bought a copy of this off eBay a little while ago. It's an interesting little piece of the beginnings of The Appleseed Cast.
