Jeff founded this site in late December of 2006 with the goal of sharing material by The Appleseed Cast with as many people as possible. In the first year we pushed roughly 178 gigabytes of data to fans new and old.

This site will not host recordings that are legally available for purchase by the consumer. This site seeks to amplify the fanbase and popularity of the band for the purposes of assisting (even if only in some small part) to their success.

Having spoken with Chris after a show regarding his position on fans sharing bootlegs, I know that he is in support of the free sharing of concert recordings. We were also linked on the official site thanks to Marc, so we're operating under at least some level of approval.

This site is best viewed in a semi-current browser. Newer versions of IE (7+), Firefox, and Safari (even on the iPhone & iPod touch) work fine. When in doubt, get firefox.

Ajax magic accomplished via jQuery and Dave Hauenstein's jQuery In-Place-Editor

We initally ran under a wordpress and enjoyed suffered-through limited functionality. Wordpress does what it does great, but we needed a custom solution. We're now running on rails with a little help from mysql. We employ extensive caching to keep things running smooth.

Ruby on rails makes us happy.
